Born and raised in Ohio, David enlisted with the US Marine Corps where he courageously earned a Purple Heart in Vietnam and left the service shortly thereafter in 1972. David was immediately drawn to Florida’s endless summer weather as well as its no local income tax policy and decided to move to the state. It was here that he discovered his passion for real estate.

David quickly developed a talent for transforming commercial properties from ordinary deals into highly desirable investments. He spent many years as a successful franchise business owner buying commercial properties to refurbish and then selling the property with the business as a complete enterprise. During this time, he met his wife Melanie and decided to alter his career path taking his superior construction and business expertise to the luxury residential real estate market.
